Cake Brands shortlisted for Food Manufacture Bakery Manufacturing Company of the Year Award

Cake Brands are delighted to have been shortlisted for the Food Manufacture Excellence Awards in the Bakery manufacturing company of the year category this coming November.

The Food Manufacture Excellence Awards provide a platform to celebrate and recognise this hard work and the boundaries pushed forwards in the past 12 months. So for Cake Brands, a group of manufacturing and trading brands including More Food, Izzy’s Patisserie, Sussex Bakes and More Foodservice, operating from a BRC graded factory and offering handmade wholesome, value products aimed at retailers in both branded packaging and for foodservice, this accolade is a source of real pride.

The Awards have been running for 18 years and have established a coveted mark of quality and excellence and this year Cake Brands will join some real players within the food manufacturing industry to compete for the title of Bakery manufacturer of the year.

The past year has seen Cake Brands working hard at building relationships with key customer accounts and helping to create new and inspiring ranges including bespoke ranges and the introduction of a new Vegan range .

With the launch of a new online operating channel for the business Cake Brands have enabled smaller or independent retailers the chance to purchase products at competitive prices without the need for bulk buying through wholesalers. Retail and foodservice customers can use the direct sales service for online ordering of a wide range of catering and retail ambient and frozen cakes and desserts for next day delivery a move which has seen great success already.

Following the success of the 2018 Farm and Deli Show where Cake Brands exhibited for the first time, they will be heading to another great Industry Exhibition this week, Lunch at the Excel in London, where you can visit them on stand H45 and see first hand many of the popular and Innovative products they can provide into the food and bakery industry.
